Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
All Squared Electrical Services wants everyone who needs an electrician to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, screen magnification, or voice control. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard and work toward it as we build and update pages.
Measures We Take
Accessibility is part of how this site is built rather than something added afterward. In practice that means:
- Semantic HTML, with landmarks and a heading order that follows the structure of each content page. See Limitations below for the "page not found" page.
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first item on every page.
- Full keyboard operation of navigation, links, buttons, and the contact form. Links, buttons, and the consent checkbox show a 2px outline in our primary blue, offset 3px from the element, when they are focused by keyboard. The contact form's name, email, phone, and message fields are the exception: they signal focus by changing their border to that same blue and adding a soft ring around it, rather than with an outline. See Limitations below.
- Descriptive alternative text on every picture on the site, and labels tied to every form field. Inline icons drawn in SVG are a separate case: see Limitations below.
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios against the background they sit on.
- Layouts that reflow for small screens and for zoomed text, and motion that is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Phone numbers and the email address written as real links so they can be activated directly.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the site meets the standard but some parts do not yet. Our assessment is a self-assessment. We have not commissioned an independent third-party accessibility audit or certification, and we do not claim full conformance.

Technical Specifications
Accessibility on this website relies on the following technologies working with your browser and any assistive technology you use:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- WAI-ARIA
The pages are built to be readable and navigable without JavaScript. JavaScript is used only for enhancements such as the mobile menu, the back-to-top button, and scroll animations.
Limitations
We know about the following gaps and would rather name them than overstate where we are:
- Embedded Google Map. Our service area map is a Google Maps embed. Its markup, controls, and keyboard behavior are produced by Google and are outside our control. Every address and service area shown on the map is also written out in text elsewhere on the site, so no information is available only inside the map.
- Focus indicator on contact form fields. The name, email, phone, and message fields turn off the site-wide focus outline and rely instead on a change of border color plus a low-opacity blue ring around the field. That indicator is fainter than the outline used everywhere else and may be hard to see, particularly in bright light or on a low-contrast screen. Replacing it with the standard outline is on our list.
- Motion on scroll. Several sections fade in as you scroll to them. This is disabled when your device requests reduced motion, and the content is shown in full when JavaScript is unavailable, but the movement may still be distracting for some visitors.
- Photographs and review content. Alternative text on job photos and on review content originating from third-party platforms may be less descriptive than we would like. We improve it as pages are updated.
- Heading order on the "page not found" page. On /404 the page heading is followed directly by the footer's third-level column headings, so a second-level heading is skipped. Every other page steps through heading levels in order.
- Inline SVG icons. Most decorative icons are hidden from screen readers, but a minority of the inline SVG icons are not yet marked as decorative and may be announced as unlabeled graphics. None of them carry information that is not also written in the text beside them.
- Ongoing changes. New pages and new content are added regularly, and an issue can appear before we catch it. Reporting one is the fastest way to get it fixed.
